# Vault series

> Shores is a numbered series of vaults, each a separate legal cell.

Shores is a series of vaults, not a single pool. Each vault is a separate segregated portfolio (cell) of Shores Vault SPC, with its own:

* lending mandate (property types, markets, loan sizes and terms),
* underwriting criteria and risk assessment,
* target yield, and
* assets and liabilities, legally separate from every other cell.

New vaults launch as the track record grows. Vaults are evergreen: they keep lending as loans repay.
