# Exit and the secondary market

> After an initial lockup, exit on the secondary market.

Shores vaults do not offer redemptions. To exit, you sell shUSD on the secondary market.

## Lockup

New shUSD has an initial lockup before it can be sold. \[TBD: lockup length]

## Selling shUSD

After the lockup, you can sell shUSD in secondary-market pools on Robinhood Chain, with liquidity from LPs as well as Shores. \[TBD: venue(s) and pool links]

* The price is set by the market and can be above or below NAV.
* Shores has no obligation to buy shUSD and does not promise any price or level of liquidity.
* You pay any trading fees and slippage, and you stop earning yield on shUSD once you sell it.
